THORS, LLC is committed to protecting the privacy of your information. This Privacy Statement describesTHORS, LLC’s Website privacy practices.

Websites Covered

This Privacy Statement covers the information practices of the Web site (referred to as “THORS, LLC’s Website(s)”). THORS, LLC’s Web sites may contain links to other Websites. THORS, LLC is not responsible for the information practices or the content of such other Websites. THORS, LLC encourages you to review the privacy statements of other Websites to understand their information practices.

Information Collected

THORS, LLC offers a variety of applications and services that are collectively referred to as “Services.” THORS, LLC collects information from individuals who visit THORS, LLC’s Web site (“Visitors”) and individuals who register to use the Services (“Customers”). When expressing an interest in obtaining additional information about the Services or registering to use the Services, THORS, LLC requires you to provide personal contact information, such as name, company name, address, phone number, and email address (“Required Contact Information”). When purchasing the Services, THORS, LLC requires you to provide financial qualification and billing information, such as billing name and address, credit card number, and the number of employees within the organization that will be using the Services (“Billing Information”). THORS, LLC may also ask you to provide additional information, such as company annual revenues, number of employees, or industry (“Optional Information”). Required Contact Information, Billing Information, and Optional Information are referred to collectively as “Data About THORS, LLC Customers.” THORS, LLC shall hold all information in strict confidence and shall not disclose any Data About THORS, LLC Customers or Web Site Navigational Information to any third party, without prior written approval from the Customer or Visitor, except as otherwise set forth in Sections 3 and 6 of this Privacy Statement.

As you navigate THORS, LLC’s Web sites, THORS, LLC may also collect information through the use of commonly-used information-gathering tools, such as cookies (“Web Site Navigational Information”). Web Site Navigational Information includes standard information from your Web browser (such as browser type and browser language), your Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, and the actions you take on THORS, LLC’s Web sites (such as the Web pages viewed and the links clicked).

Use of Information Collected

THORS, LLC uses Data About THORS, LLC Customers to perform the services requested. For example, if you fill out a “Contact Me” Web form, THORS, LLC will use the information provided to contact you about your interest in the Services. THORS, LLC may also use Data About THORS, LLC Customers for marketing purposes. For example, THORS, LLC may use information you provide to contact you to further discuss your interest in the Services and to send you information regarding THORS, LLC and its partners, such as information about promotions or events. THORS, LLC uses credit card information solely to check the financial qualifications of prospective customers and to collect payment for the Services.

THORS, LLC uses Web Site Navigational Information to operate and improve THORS, LLC’s Websites.

THORS, LLC may also use Website navigational Information alone or in combination with Data About THORS, LLC Customers to provide personalized information about THORS, LLC.

Website Navigational Information

This section describes the types of Website navigational Information that may be collected on THORS, LLC’s Web site and how this information may be used.

  • Cookies

THORS, LLC uses cookies to make interactions with THORS, LLC’s Web site easy and meaningful. When you visit THORS, LLC’s Web site, THORS, LLC’s servers send a cookie to your computer. Standing alone, cookies do not personally identify you. They merely recognize your Web browser. Unless you choose to identify yourself to THORS, LLC, by filling out a Web form (such as a “Contact Me”), you remain anonymous to THORS, LLC. THORS, LLC uses cookies that are session-based and persistent-based. Session cookies exist only during one session. They disappear from your computer when you close your browser software or turn off your computer. Persistent cookies remain on your computer after you close your browser or turn off your computer. If you have chosen to identify yourself to THORS, LLC, THORS, LLC uses session cookies containing encrypted information to allow THORS, LLC to uniquely identify you. Each time you log into the Services, a session cookie containing an encrypted, unique identifier that is tied to your account is placed in your browser. These session cookies allow THORS, LLC to uniquely identify you when you are logged into the Services and to process your online transactions and requests. Session cookies are required to use the Services. THORS, LLC uses persistent cookies that only THORS, LLC can read and use to identify browsers that have previously visited THORS, LLC’s Web site. When you purchase the Services or provide THORS, LLC with personal information, a unique identifier is assigned you. This unique identifier is associated with a persistent cookie that THORS, LLC places on your Web browser. THORS, LLC is careful about the security and confidentiality of the information stored in persistent cookies. For example, THORS, LLC does not store account numbers or passwords in persistent cookies. If you disable your Web browser’s ability to accept cookies, you will be able to navigate THORS, LLC’s Web site, but you will not be able to successfully use the Services. THORS, LLC may use information from session and persistent cookies in combination with Data About THORS, LLC Customers to provide you with information about THORS, LLC and the Services.

  • IP Addresses

When you visit THORS, LLC’s Web site, THORS, LLC collects your Internet Protocol (“IP”) addresses to track and aggregate non-personal information. For example, THORS, LLC uses IP addresses to monitor the regions from which Customers and Visitors navigate THORS, LLC’s Website. THORS, LLC also collects IP addresses from Customers when they log into the Services as part of THORS, LLC’s “Identity Confirmation” and “IP Range Restrictions” security features.

Public Forums, Refer a Friend, and Customer Testimonials

THORS, LLC may provide bulletin boards, blogs, or chat rooms on THORS, LLC’s Website. Any personal information you choose to submit in such a forum may be read, collected, or used by others who visit these forums, and may be used to send you unsolicited messages. THORS, LLC is not responsible for the personal information you choose to submit in these forums. Customers and Visitors may elect to use THORS, LLC’s referral program to inform friends about THORS, LLC’s Web site. When using the referral program, THORS, LLC requests the friend’s name and email address. THORS, LLC will send the friend an email inviting him or her to visit THORS, LLC’s website. THORS, LLC posts a list of Customers and testimonials on THORS, LLC’s website that contains information such as Customer names and titles. THORS, LLC obtains the consent of each Customer prior to posting any information on such a list or posting testimonials.

Sharing of Information Collected

THORS, LLC may share Data About THORS, LLC Customers with THORS, LLC’s service providers so that these service providers can contact Customers and Visitors who have provided contact information on our behalf. THORS, LLC may also share Data About THORS, LLC Customers with THORS, LLC’s service providers to ensure the quality of information provided. Unless described in this Privacy Statement, THORS, LLC does not share, sell, rent, or trade any information provided with third parties for their promotional purposes. THORS, LLC uses a third-party service provider to manage credit card processing. This service provider is not permitted to store, retain, or use Billing Information except for the sole purpose of credit card processing on THORS, LLC’s behalf. In addition to the disclosures permitted under Section 3 of this Privacy Statement, THORS, LLC may disclose Data About THORS, LLC Customers or Web Site Navigational Information as required to comply with orders of governmental entities that have jurisdiction over it, provided that THORS, LLC (i) gives Customers and Visitors reasonable notice (to the extent permitted by law) to allow Customers and Visitors to seek a protective order or other appropriate remedy, (ii) discloses only such information as is required by the governmental entity, and (iii) uses commercially reasonable efforts to obtain confidential treatment for any information so disclosed.

Intentional Transfer of Information Collected

To facilitate THORS, LLC’s global operations, THORS, LLC may transfer and access Data About THORS, LLC Customers from around the world, including the United States. This Privacy Statement shall apply even if THORS, LLC transfers Data About THORS, LLC Customers to other countries.

Communication Preferences

THORS, LLC offers Customers and Visitors the option to send a request specifying your communications preferences to Customers cannot opt out of receiving transactional emails related to their account with THORS, LLC or the Services.

Correcting and Updating your Information

Customers may update or change their registration information by editing their user profile record. In the THORS Academy or Learning Management System, please login to with your academy username and password and click “Edit Profile” from the dropdown menu in the top right of the page. To update an organization’s information, please contact us at with your THORS, LLC username and provide the new information in the body of the email. To update Billing Information or have your registration information deleted, please call 330-576-4448. To discontinue your account and to have information you maintained in the Services returned to you, please email or call 330-576-4448. Requests to access, change, or delete your information will be handled within 30 days.

Customer Data

Customers may electronically submit data or information (other than Data About THORS, LLC Customers or Web Site Navigational Information) to the Services for hosting and processing purposes (“Customer Data”). THORS, LLC will not review, share, distribute, or reference any such Customer Data except as provided in the THORS, LLC Master Subscription Agreement (a), or as may be required by law. In accordance with the THORS, LLC Master Subscription Agreement (a), THORS, LLC may access Customer Data only for the purpose of providing the Services, preventing or addressing service or technical problems, at a Customer’s request in connection with customer support matters, to review or contact a connected supplier, or as may be required by law.


THORS, LLC uses security measures to protect Customer Data from unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and help ensure, to the extent possible, the appropriate use of Customer Data. When the Services are accessed using Internet Explorer version 8.0 or later, Firefox, Google Chrome, or Safari, Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology protects Customer Data using both server authentication and data encryption. These technologies help ensure, to the extent possible, that Customer Data is safe, secure, and only available to the Customer to whom the information belongs and those to whom the Customer has granted access. THORS, LLC also implements an advanced security method based on dynamic data and encoded session identifications, and THORS, LLC hosts its website in a secure server environment that uses firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other advanced technology to minimize the possibility of interference or access from outside intruders. Customers are responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of their THORS, LLC usernames and passwords. Because THORS, LLC uses the Services to maintain Data About THORS, LLC Customers, this information is secured in the same manner as described above for Customer Data.

Changes to this Privacy Statement

THORS, LLC reserves the right to change this Privacy Statement. THORS, LLC will provide email notification of the material changes to this Privacy Statement through THORS, LLC’s Web site at least thirty (30) business days prior to the change taking effect.

This Privacy Statement and all provisions hereunder, shall be construed in accordance with, and governed by the laws of the State of Ohio. The parties agree that any litigation brought by either party shall be filed exclusively in the state and federal courts having jurisdiction in Summit County, Ohio, and the parties hereby consent to the jurisdiction of such courts and waive all questions of jurisdiction and venue. If any provision of this Privacy Statement is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be contrary to law, the provision shall be modified by the court and interpreted so as best to accomplish the objectives of the original provision to the fullest extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions of this Privacy Statement shall remain in effect. To the extent of any conflict or inconsistency between the provisions of this Privacy Statement and any Master Subscription Agreement (a), if one has been entered into, the terms of such Master Subscription Agreement (a) shall prevail.
